No. Candlytics is an educational and analytical tool. It identifies patterns, summarizes structure and explains what those patterns historically suggest. It does not recommend specific trades, does not consider your financial situation, and is not a substitute for a licensed financial advisor.
There is no guarantee that any pattern, signal or analysis from Candlytics will be profitable. Markets are unpredictable and past patterns do not reliably forecast future moves. Many users will lose money trading. Use Candlytics to study charts, not as a profit machine.
Candlytics uses Anthropic's Claude vision models to read your screenshots. Detection quality depends on image clarity, chart style and timeframe. Treat outputs as a second opinion, not as a verified signal.
Screenshots are stored in your iOS app sandbox and synced to a private Supabase storage folder scoped to your user ID. During analysis they're sent over HTTPS to Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic does not retain them.
No. Candlytics never connects to a broker, never holds custody of your assets and never places orders on your behalf. You stay in full control of every trade.
Yes — any chart you can screenshot is fair game. Note that crypto and leveraged instruments (futures, options, margin) carry substantially higher risk. The app flags these instruments and surfaces extra risk language where relevant.

Quick fixes for the most common issues.
Make sure the screenshot is sharp and the candles, timeframe and ticker are visible. Crop out modal overlays and watermarks. If the analysis still fails, force-close and reopen the app and try again with a fresh screenshot.
AI analyses are a second opinion, not ground truth. Try a less cluttered chart with fewer indicators, a clearer timeframe label, and standard candle colors. Submit a bug report with the screenshot if you believe the read is consistently off.
Open Candlytics → Settings → Restore Purchases. If your subscription was made under a different Apple ID, sign into that ID in iOS Settings first. All billing is handled by Apple — refunds go through reportaproblem.apple.com.
Open Candlytics → Settings → Delete account. This wipes your authentication record, saved analyses, chart screenshots, and onboarding answers from both your device and Supabase cloud storage. Deleting the app also removes everything local.
All subscriptions are managed by Apple. View, change or cancel at iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. For refunds, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
